There were 385 students enrolled in Wausaukee School District in the 2024-25 school year, 1% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 52.2% identified themselves as boys, 47.8% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 92.7% of the Wausaukee School District total enrollment.

Wausaukee School District covers three schools within Marinette County, with its main office in Wausaukee.

Among the three schools in the district, Wausaukee Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 168 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion per year.
