There were 389 students enrolled in Wabeno Area School District in the 2024-25 school year, 4.9% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51.2% identified themselves as boys, 48.8% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 57.1% of the Wabeno Area School District total enrollment.

Wabeno Area School District covers two schools within Forest County, with its main office in Wabeno.

Among the two schools in the district, Wabeno Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 196 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
