Enrollment at Marinette School District decreased by 2.2% compared to previous school year

There were 1,914 students enrolled in Marinette School District in the 2024-25 school year, 2.2% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 53% identified themselves as boys, 47% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 83.3% of the Marinette School District total enrollment.

Marinette School District covers four schools within Marinette County, with its main office in Marinette.

Among the four schools in the district, Marinette High School recorded the highest enrollment of 618 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
