There were 532 students enrolled in Gibraltar Area School District in the 2024-25 school year, 0.2% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 51.1% identified themselves as boys, 48.9% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 84.6% of the Gibraltar Area School District total enrollment.

Gibraltar Area School District covers three schools within Door County, with its main office in Fish Creek.

Among the three schools in the district, Gibraltar Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 265 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin ranks 22nd in the U.S. for public education spending, with an annual expenditure of over $16,500 per pupil, totaling $13.8 billion per year.
