The majority of students in Florence County district were white in the 2024-25 school year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of the 369 students attending Florence County district schools, 91.3% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnic group within Florence County's district, making up 3.3% of the student body.

In the previous school year, white students were also the most common group in Florence County district, representing 91.1% of the student body.

The Florence County student population comprised American Indian, African American, Hispanic, Pacific Islander, multiracial, and white.

In the 2024-25 school year, the total number of students in the county dropped to 3.1% compared to the previous year.
