3.4% of citizens unemployed in Door County in 2021

Door County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.4% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 513 people out of the 29,713 living in Door County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Door County has decreased compared to the 3.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Door County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.5%.

Of the 14,552 people who had a job during that time, 21 were employed in the Armed Forces and 14,531 belonged to the civilian labor force.
