Bellin Health Generations has added the expertise of fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologist and surgeon Dr. Ali Mahdavi to its healthcare team.
Dr. Mahdavi offers expertise in these areas, among others:
• Diagnosis, treatment and surveillance of gynecologic cancers
• Ovarian cancer
• Cervical cancer
• Uterine and endometrial cancer
• Cancers of the vulva
• Risk reduction for genetic predisposition
• Minimally invasive surgery techniques

• Cytoreductive surgery
• Robotic lymphatic mapping
• Sentinel lymph node biopsy
Dr. Mahdavi earned his Medical Degree at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, and completed his Internal Medicine internship at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He completed his OB/GYN residency at Providence Hospital and Medical Center/Wayne State University of Medicine in Detroit; and completed two fellowships: Gynecologic Oncology at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine (Irvine, Calif.) and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Mahdavi is board-certified in Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics and Gynecology, and was named the Top Doctor in Gynecologic Oncology by Milwaukee Magazine.
In his personal time, Dr. Mahdavi enjoys swimming, traveling and reading.
