Trails in the Southeast Zone of Door County are open as of December 31, 2025. The open area covers trails from Gordon Road south over the Bayview Bridge, including Potawatomi State Park and the Ahnapee State Trail to the southern county line at County Road X. The west boundary is defined by County Road M and the southern half of the Ahnapee Trail.

Current trail conditions are rated as poor. Users are advised to consult a detailed map for Potawatomi State Park winter use, which is available on the Southeast Zone page.

Officials remind visitors to respect both private and public property when trails are closed. They caution that ignoring trail closures can result in citations and fines. “PLEASE RESPECT PRIVATE AND PUBLIC PROPERTY WHEN TRAILS ARE CLOSED. BE AWARE THAT FAILURE TO ABIDE BY TRAIL CLOSURES CAN RESULT IN A CITATION AND FINE!”
