ROAD WEIGHT LIMITS
0Comments

Grover recently issued the following announcement on Feb 28.

Effective Friday, March 11th at 4pm seasonal weight limits will be in effect on all Town of Grover Town Roads, except Kasal Ln, Vernon Hills Dr and Koronkiewicz Ln (For 200 ft south of 41) Restrictions do not apply to the following: School Buses, Emergency Vehicles, Milk/Food/Seed and Garbage Haulers, although we do ask they operate at 1/3 less load when possible. Fuel/Gas Haulers are allowed to operate at half load. Over-Weight Permits can be applied for, and will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Please be mindful that this is done to reduce the stress and damage to our town roads during the spring break up season. Any road damage observed REQUIRES travel to be SUSPENDED on that portion of roadway and the damage needs to be reported IMMEDIATELY to a member of the town board.
