A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Town Of Wausaukee on November 7, 2024. The request was made by NE Wisconsin News, a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs.

The FOIA request specifically asked for a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024. This data is critical for our ongoing reporting efforts as it provides insights into voter participation and engagement in the recent elections.

As part of our mission at NE Wisconsin News, we believe in holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. Access to public records such as these is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities.

We have requested this information under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., and have asked that it be provided in an electronic format for ease of analysis and reporting.
