FOIA Request to Town Of Gardner Regarding Same Day Registered Voters for Wisconsin 2024 Election on November 7, 2024.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at NE Wisconsin News have sent a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., to the Town Of Gardner. The request, dated November 7, 2024, specifically asks for a list of new voter registrations that were completed on November 5, 2024.

As a media organization dedicated to holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public, access to these records is essential for us in fulfilling our professional responsibilities. Given our role in disseminating information, we believe we are eligible for a fee waiver as media professionals.
