FOIA Request to Town of Brussels Regarding Newly Registered Voters on November 7, 2024.

A request for public records was sent by NE Wisconsin News to the Town of Brussels in Wisconsin. The request was made under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., and specifically asked for a list of new voters who registered on November 5, 2024.

As a media organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at NE Wisconsin News believe access to such public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. These include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
